On this day 44 years ago Marvel was trying to compete in the UK boys adventure/action comic market. Up against Commando, Battle and Warlord, to name a few, it didn’t stand a chance! It was simply too tame, including reprints of really out of date war stories. But it did have Kull and Shang-Chi so I stayed around for the few issues they produced…
