I hate to see a Labour government making a potentially life-saving benefit available to far fewer people who need it, the cut-off for being eligible for pension credit and, therefore, the winter fuel allowance is miserably low. But I'm also a bit sick of seeing the complaints by pensioners in my local area, which IMO is full of well off people feeling aggrieved that any government dares take anything from their cohort
