Bridgerton Dear Eloise (again) Let’s just back the Logic Boat back up to dock for a minute and think about this? Penelope/Lady Whistledown didn’t make up the “damning things” she wrote about. You DID those damning things that she wrote about. Also, when were you going to care that those damning things you did could have cost your entire family their standing with the crown, the land, the title, and the wealth that form your Bridgerton Bubble of privilege?!

Neither Eloise and Colin ever actually say what us written about them is a lie, yet there seems to be this narrative of “Pen only wrote the truth, therefore they’re wrong for being upset”. But both their hurts come first from being very publically written about, and then the deeper hurt and betrayal comes when they find out the person closest to them wrote it - both very valid things to be upset over!
一天內	Holly Payne holacepc	I keep saying that these two were mad because Penelope did what they wanted to do and she did so successfully. They were jealous, that's why they were mad. Eloise was in her feelings because she said her friend told things she told her in confidence when EVERYBODY saw her with Theo. Even Colin told her to stop doing that dumb sh!t. Colin on the other hand couldn't fathom the beast he was crazy for. Penelope shocked the sh!t out of him then it made him jealous, she's doing what he wanted to do.
