I met James Earl Jones once, when I was a kid. They filmed some of Field of Dreams in my hometown, and so he got to know the director of the community theater, and some years later he came back to perform in a one act play as a fundraiser. My mom worked in the office of the theater, so she made sure that I met him. I don't remember what he said, but I do remember that he looked me right in the eye and he smiled.
