Birth Scenario: You’re 41 weeks pregnant and go into labor at home. This is your first baby. Contractions are about 7-8 minutes. It’s beginning to get harder to speak while you have them and you are feeling the urge to rest in between. You are planning on giving birth at a hospital 30 minutes away. What do you do next?

And you can get settled in calmly instead of scrambling to get someplace suitable for delivery. Just my 2 cents. My firstborn only took 4 hours and that was with her getting stuck. Not every first labor is long!
