No, I didn't feel that. But that's what was communicated to me in my teens and 20s which led me to stop using medication all together. Now I'm in my 30s, medicated at a way lower dose, and actually have a care routine that helps me live with/manage my ADHD other than 72 mg Vyvanse and 🙏

No. I got more of my personality when I was no longer using all energy fighting paralysis, hyperfocus, shame and all the other shitty symptoms of ADHD. I was afraid of becoming someone different on meds, turns out it had the oppositionen effect

I’m also in the same group with other no sayers. I still have my personality and I’m now less irritable, which is a huge win for all.

I did. But much later in life I learned it was because I wasn't on the right dose, or possibly even the right medication. My son takes it now and it gave him his life and personality back.

You are less scattered , focused on achieving goals of my own that I could never seem to get a hold on my entire life. Not feeling the need to be “On” all the time for others and neglecting my own life

Yeah, when I was on the wrong ones. But then I got on the right ones and I realized you're not actually supposed to be able to feel the drugs, you'll know it's in your system when things that felt impossible feel doable, if unpleasant. That's literally the biggest difference for me, it just allows me to kick on the "might as well do it while I'm here" part of my brain.

Not at all. I did notice that I’m a lot less grumpy and snappy at those around me though which is a definite plus.
