I used to date interracially almost exclusively because I just didn’t have much access to dating Black women. I went to PWIs since 7th grade and although I lived in a super Black neighborhood, my social skills were just not up to par to be cool enough to date the Black women I was interested in. After I divorced my ex (she’s white) and started dating, I noticed a HUGE difference in how the world treated me depending on the skin tone of the woman I was with.
