At the convenience store, the rack in front of me has no lids for my medium drink. The lady to my right hands me one. "Thanks. I'm left-handed, too. There are more of us than most people realize!" She laughs awkwardly, and, as she turns to get in line, I can clearly see she's missing her right arm.
