Not trying to defend him, but in trying to defend his ridiculous statement that she "turned black", I think he was saying was that she "put out" a statement that she was Asian American...

I listened to him say it 5 times and it was definitely him trying to clarify that the thing he read about her not being black was something she put out, and then later she said she was black. But hey, that’s awful enough!
