When we got our inclusive Pride flag to fly at home, I mentioned it at work. Coworker asked, “are you afraid someone might think YOU’RE gay?” Me - “Why, would that be bad?” 🙄

I have one hanging in my front window (hoa rules). I’m not gay, my husband isn’t gay - we are proud advocates 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️

It is not an insult, inclusion means including everyone and respecting their right to live as themselves

After I hung my American flag I added two banners. One rainbow with “If you can be anything be kind” and the other “ Keep your hands off my Uterus”. I didn’t want to be mistaken for a Trumper.

My mom said the same thing about my rainbow doormat. “What if they think you’re a lesbian??” Oh no, the horror 🙄

As a pastor and a single woman, I enjoy the ambiguity that my being a LGBTQ+ ally creates. Let them wonder. Our sex lives are none of their business anyway.

My husband (who is straight) has a big rainbow tattoo. He talked about if for several years, waiting for our kid to come out. It may confuse people, when they see we are obviously a straight couple, but it sure makes a "you're safe with us" statement!
