yes. not having a 1-click unsubscribe button is illegal. most email providers require you have one. covering it is sketchy AF. if you mark it spam it hurts their sender reputation (not saying you should - up to you, just giving you facts!) replying actually helps their send rep. I literally don’t understand not letting people leave your list. that’d be like locking them in your store. 🙄 and whyyyy do you want to pay for people that don’t want to be there? 🫠
