On this day in remembrance of 9/11 I’m posting a photo of the Survivor Stairs, these stairs connected the northern edge of the World Trade Center’s Austin J. Tobin Plaza to the Vesey Street sidewalk. The stairs aided in the escape of hundreds during the attacks. We saw these stairs when we attended the memorial museum at ground zero. An angel guided these people down these stairs that day.
