I grew up literally 10 mins away from Chappell in the city, Willard is connected to. I’m finally leaving next year and I’m taking my Midwest princess hat with me as a reminder not all of my queer siblings in the ozarks get the opportunity to go somewhere safer. She’s been such an inspiration though, that life one unbridled and queer can be found outside the borders of Missouri.
