I have been to NYC several times since 9/11, but this was the first time I visited the memorial since it was completed. A visit to Tom was the first thing we did. Just before we left on our trip, I also learned that one of my college teammates, police officer Matt Perluhnger also passed away due to the events of that day. I will never forget and always be grateful for their sacrifice and PROUD that a knew these two great men.
