For all the people grousing about how Threads doesn’t have all bells and whistles less than 24 hours after launch. I believe Meta waited for that right moment when the bird app reached a point of no return. When Elon instituted a quota on tweets you could read, Meta knew this was the chance. So it rolled out in functional but not idealized form. Time will tell, but seems like a winning strategy…something Elon can’t seem to do lately.
