The Meta team are rightly getting lots of kudos (considering how many others fumbled the opportunity) but it’s also a testament to how much Elon Musk absolutely messed up Twitter and alienated it’s core audience. Many (me included) were waiting for a viable alternative to come along to be done with Twitter. This was the perfect opportunity. The easy onboarding certainly helped.
