I was naive enough to believe that setting up an account would be all I needed to do with the spyware, so I downloaded it and was presented with a new headache - use my Instagram account to log in. I do have an Instagram account, and I used Facebook to log in to it. But on the phone I can't log in to Threads with the Facebook account, I had to reset the Instagram password to actually have something I could use with Threads.
