spotify’s pedalboard (open source python lib) now supports MIDI input -> VST -> audio. this lets you create a massive pool of melodic audio data, waaay faster than real time recording. i hope people use it for transcription and computationally restyling/remixing music in addition to building training sets for generative AI music models
