When I watch a movie, read a book, or listen to a song that deeply affects me, I feel a strong urge to create something similar—to have the power to evoke those same emotions in others. Sadly, my singing voice is like a beaten cat, and I have no interest in film making. That leaves me with writing. And I want to make readers cry, laugh, and giggle through my words.
