i hope all the “ayoko pang umuwi kasi maingay sa bahay” and “kakain ako sa labas kasi sinigawan ako sa bahay” kids would one day experience a home that is meant to make them feel safe and at peace; a roof that would be their shield when it rains hatred and pain. i hope the shelter that they’re living in would provide them comfort and rest when the world is in chaos. you’ll get there one day. one day.
