Books are precious and wonderful, but if we only ever try to keep them pristine and to ourselves, we’re missing out on their true potential and purpose. The feelings we get from them, the ideas we gain, and the connections with people we share them with. They are beautiful, but for their ideas. Not their perfection and cleanliness.
