"I believe" is such an odd turn of phrase, isn't it? I mean, if you truly believed from the bottom of your heart, you wouldn't need to spell it out. It's like saying, "I believe in air." So people only say "they believe" when they doubt something? I'm not trying to say that believing in something is a barefaced lie.
