"Tankie" is a pejorative label for Marxist-Leninists. Immediately and without even looking deeper, this insult should raise some red flags (pun intended) as virtually every socialist movement around the world today and almost every socialist project is ML or an offshoot. Additionally, the only people who use this pejorative are from the imperial core.
