My husband and I took my kid to the zoo yesterday (a Monday) for his birthday and it was overrun with solo moms just LOADED with kids. Not a single one looked happy, just exhausted, disheveled and lifeless. Being a mom is amazing but women please stop romanticizing this voluntary servitude of devoting your life to your husband and kids.
