Mary did not seek to be Jesus’ mother. David did not pray to become king of Israel. Abraham had no intention of having a child in old age, let alone a name or location change. The disciples were not trying to be chosen by Jesus. They were not in search of their Calling, rather they simply responded to The Caller.
