Last night, I had the privilege of being the MC for the zentealounge annual gala event. This charity is passionate about building emotional and financial freedom for women affected by domestic violence, abuse, and isolation. We heard from some great speakers who opened up and shared their stories of survival and overcoming domestic and family violence only to create fulfilling lives for themselves. Unfortunately, we also learned of the terrible statistics that still plague our society today.
