I watched Saw 1 last night, and it really does not hold up very well. Some of the shots in that movie are... Ooh man, pretty eye-roll-inducing. Also, the middle was an absolute drag. Watched Alien tonight, and that one holds up nicely. Effects were sold except for one scene (when Parker and Lambert die), and the suspense still very much works.
