A continuous lesson I seem to keep learning is … not everyone is genuine or deserves your energy. As an empath I have a hard time because I love people; I want to make others feel loved, seen, heard, and them experience understanding. Unfortunately, for me that comes at a very high cost. As someone who’s challenged herself to grow, communicate better, and is genuine it’s sometimes frustrating. Regardless the lesson has been learned (again) and I will continue on, but conservatively.
