We have a group on Facebook of women who started out as one interest other than being in the Chicago area, and it has now grown into a huge supportive community. Let me know if you’d like an invite to the group but then there are sub groups for everything from sports, shopping, nights out, looking for jobs .. all kinds of networking and friendships . After three years here I’m finally making some genuine friends from that group
