They say reading is relaxing, but this book tore me apart and had me gasping for breath from beginning till end. The most interesting concept in the book was the parallels between characters. The passing down of emotional legacies from Baba to Amir and the generational trauma in the Hazara family was something that made me stop and think, and explore some more that I'll be posting soon.
