Why is it that seemingly any novel set in Glasgow either normalises or glorifies, illicit drug culture? I'm reading Frankie Boyle's, 'Meantime', and am not sure I can continue....I loathe the casualness and incessant referencing of mind altering / relationship ruining / finance crippling narcotics.....(says he enjoying a pale ale)
