The worst ? Power outages for multiple days. Possibly no running water & or ban on flushing (sewage plants offline). Flooding. Roof damage. This one reminds many of us of hurricane Charley. Many communities experienced all of that for that one.

People referring to NC (areas like Asheville) are neglecting terrain. Florida is not mountainous. Nor does it have as many dams as NC, Flash Flood Emergencies are not likely. Flooding, however, is possible. Check if you're in a flood zone. Wind, tornadoes, and flooding are greatest hazards for Orlando. If told to evacuate, evacuate.

My best native Floridian guess... we'll have lots of rain (flooding is always a possibility, though not flash flooding) & power loss. It'll be uncomfortable but being 50 miles inland we're usually fine. Obviously, just listen to any evacuation orders from the city/ county.
