There is some confusion out there as to what is appropriate for a woman over 50 or 60 to wear. They shouldn’t wear mini skirts, shorts or have a hem line past the knee. God forbid if we drew attention to ourselves, over the age of 50 we’re supposed to fade into the background of society, wear aprons and slippers and become invisible, heaven help us if we retain a sense of style.
