How much do you like to know about a book before you read it? Do you judge by cover? Synopsis? Will you read it if it’s within a certain genre? Or do you want details on the tropes it contains? I feel like it’s popular now to market books by all their tropes. I’m wondering how, as a reader, you feel about that. For me, I like experiencing the journey as I read and I like to be surprised. Too much trope marketing feels like spoilers to me, sometimes. But I want to know what you think!
