No it's not hard but if no one teaches you how to make change that way. How are you supposed to know? That's a failure by the adults that trained her.

This is not about “young folks.” Cashiers have been struggling to make change since someone gave them two stone for a pebble.

I’m 44 - am I a young folk? Because I can’t count back change and I work as a cashier. Are you going to shame me too? Do you know how stressful our jobs are to scan, and listen to people who literally accuse me of stealing 10 cents from them because that’s what they cost to bag their stuff? And then to have someone like you insult me by saying it’s simple math?!? You have NO IDEA what someone’s life is that is standing in front of you ringing up your purchase. Ungrateful people suck!
