The thing i most dreaded when i was a junior crew was doing the Cantonese PA. I could only recognise simple characters only, since i’ve never studied chinese before being a BBC 🇬🇧 … it didn’t help that it was on a volunteer basis back then, out of courtesy the most junior or male crew volunteered 🥲. So i had to memorize and use lots of translation in advance. Back then we had booklets, now we use an APP on our phones. How times have changed cabincrew
