Nothing but respect and admiration for Yoshi-P (lead for both FF XIV and XVI) but this exactly why I really disagreed with his take on turn based combat when I interviewed him last year. He said the current generation of players just weren’t interested in that style of play and needed something more immediate. But here’s Atlus reminding everyone that turn based combat can still blow people away. (Im 40 hours deep on Metaphor and it is indeed S-tier)
