I heard someone say one time (this isn’t verbatim), “if you’re not proud of what you do, why would you expect somebody else to be proud of you?” And i interpreted that as making sure I give MY best effort to anything I commit myself to=no half assing. It’s had such a positive impact on the quality of my life. ✨
