As a pharmacist who is also a patient, I’m frustrated by the current state of medication management. I waited 1 month to see a dermatologist for a terrible eczema exacerbation. After a 10 minute convo, she prescribed me an expensive injectable for said condition. So expensive that it took 4 months for insurance to approve with multiple appeals. By then, my eczema already healed because I decided to research and implement lifestyle modifications myself. We have to do better 🙏
