It's crazy because if you're looking to switch jobs, they'll put your current job in jeopardy trying to interview for companies that just waste your time

I had an interview situation similar to this. I was waiting in the virtual call room like Zoom, waited 15 minutes past the time it was supposed to start. Left the call; then they texted me asking where I was. I was waiting the whole time and decided not to go with them because of that experience. Companies expect us to be on time to our shift, then we should hold them to the same srandard when it comes to interviews.

Same here. I was waiting for HR to call me at 1 pm yesterday, but they never did. I called to follow up, but the call didn't go through. Then, I received a rejection email in the middle of the night 🤷‍♀️

I on the other hand, send an email to a candidate on Tuesday to confirm an interview on Thursday with the HOO, and the candidate only responded this morning. Of course I tell him off politely that he should at least respond a day in advance and not on day of scheduled interview. Because he’s raw, I let him continue with the interview.

same thing happened to me at a Dental office except they kept changing the time but never actually calling me. smh took that as they did not care at all

I applied for a position online and they called me at a random time to do an impromptu phone interview which I of course couldn't do because they gave no warning and I was already at my other job. I asked for a different time window the next day and they agreed. Next day, no calls, no texts, no voicemail, no email. I waited a bit, still nothing. Thought maybe I was supposed to call them instead. Called and left a few voicemails. No response. Never heard from them again

How unprofessional of her. I am sorry. Good of you to leave reviews. Two weeks ago I had a intake via phone scheduled at 14.30 with a recruiter of a temp agency. Ten minutes go by. Nothing. I send a mail at 14.50 asking if things are going ahead still. She proceeds to call me half an hour later and doesn't even apologize. My time is valuable too even if I am between jobs at the moment. I value her time and was on time but she called me half an hour later and didn't even apologise.

Going through this now. Didn’t have an interview set up, but I responded back with my availability to 2 companies and they never responded back. It’s like if you don’t follow up immediately you lose the chance… I’m working so am not by my phone 😕
