Perhaps you “you could not find someone that suits me”……is because you are holding on to the memory of your previous love. Once you find someone it takes two to make the love and relationship work, so it’s a mutual accommodation between partners. Focus on your new love a But cherish the memories you had previously. It is not a competition however.
