Actually, I feel NorCal or SoCal would be more accurate. I've lived in NorCal for the last 20 years and that's how it's commonly referred to around here. I also hear PLENTY of people call it Cali.

We’ve always said Cali, people in LA have a lot of different slang for words, so everyone won’t know what’s up at first but my friends and I have always said Cali 🤷🏾‍♂️

Maybe it’s a regional thing bc I was born in Cali and my whole family (and extended) lives there, and we all say Cali. We use SoCal and NorCal too but in general, it’s just Cali unless we’re trying to be specific. 🤷🏻‍♂️ for reference we’re from the Palm Desert/San Diego areas
