This happened a while back, so it’s irrelevant, and I’ve already accepted the loss, but what would you have done… I worked with a company that decided to pay me in a Visa e-gift card. I wasn’t thrilled, but didn’t think much of it until I went to spend it and realized they had issued me a card that expired after 4 months. I had now done the work only to be out $500. Looking back, I kinda wish I said something, but I also don’t know that would have helped since I guess they technically paid me.
