Other people’s children, yo. They destroy the indestructible. And I’m not spending my own money anymore. #teacherlife

Nope! I would not be buying any extra charges ever. I’d make it known to parents and students both they are responsible for to be prepared for class or they can do worksheets or take a zero. Also, I’m just a parent and not a teacher. I just have no tolerance for kids being destructive of others property and parents not caring when informed.

High school teacher here. “Miss can I borrow your phone charger?” Nope! They won’t return it. Lost a couple many years ago. They also ask to borrow the charger to my school laptop for their school Chromebook. Nope! Borrow from your classmates.

I teach high school, I have a computer lab. I have kids who write on the screens with pencils. Who does that? Kids who don't care. It sucks.

I am really sorry. I see the same with my classes - primary school, so ueah, they don't have reached double digit age yet, but still the number of children who treat the whole materials in class as toys and have not even respect for things that are clearly labeled as teacher stuff, has grown intensely. This years record is that I was asked for a new whiteboard pen after a week, because that child had used up his forst one by just colpuring his whiteboard black back and front 🙄
