I don’t usually speak like this on here, but im crying because I am exhausted in this community. I get on Instagram and the first thing I see is an author who wrote a KKK and racist romance is getting some SEs done by one of my favorite book companies. I can’t begin to put into words my feelings of anger, disgust, betrayal and hopelessness. Being a BIPOC reader in this space is so draining. I think I’m going to have to take a step back bc I don’t have anything positive to say rn.
