Lol, yes!! I'm a 38 year old mom an my youngest is a 1st grader! I'm glad I waited till I was grown to have my babies.

A lot of people who have kids later in life say that they are happy that they waited. My mom had me at 15 and i have a lot of trauma from that, not because she was a bad mother but because she was still young and trying to live her life and raise me at the same time.. i would get jealous of my peers who had older parents because they looked and acted like parents! Even as a child i could see the difference

I'm 42. My son will be 7 in December & I love it here!! He's my only child & I'm not having anymore. Never have I said anything about anyone having kids at a young age but folks love to speak on how old I was when I had mine! I waited til I wanted a child & was ready for one. Also, it's nice to have friends with teenagers, they make great babysitters!

I had my 1st child at 30, and my 4th child when I was 41. A coworker, who is considerably younger than me expressed she can't imagine having kids in her 30's.
