So for all my whining about Denver home prices, I'm working on a plan to sell my place and try to find something a bit bigger in a safer neighborhood. What's completely insane is that I know I'll come out of this sale with enough cash to outright buy almost every house my parents raised me in (when they bought those houses, of course). But in 2024, that $200k is barely a down payment on anything even a little better than my tiny duplex on East Colfax.
