I'm pretty sure this isn't the case everywhere in Portland, but I can get from the convention center to 3 blocks from where I'm staying, 6 miles away in a residential area, on exactly 1 bus for $2.80. No rental car needed. No parking problems. No need for Lyft. It's saving me hundreds of dollars over 4 days.
