Tried out and played the Stratocaster Ultra for quite a while yesterday. Great instrument with 3 single coils, delivering the true Strat sound. What I liked: - The SSS pickups sound amazing, no matter if it's the neck, middle, or bridge position - noiseless pickups are great IMHO. - Quite lightweight. - Locking tuners. What I didn't like: The neck wasn't for me, D-shaped felt uncomfortable compared to the American Pro II's deep C-shaped.
