I remember sticking it out through a proper apprenticeship, really prooving your here for the show! Then after a few years going out and really making a name for yourself but always respecting where you came from. Now the apprentice is tattooing in a month and starting a private studio across the street. 0 respect 0 discipline and 0 F’s about there “mentors”. But somehow a lot of them are making it work. And hats off to them.

Teaching of tattoo history. Though we may grow past traditions, it’s so important to know where it started. The generation before us, was difficult to create in. As we move towards more accessible art, it’s good to know where one day everything will cycle back to.
